Project 126" Carden Extra
Carden 126" Extra 300

My next competition airframe is a 126"
Carden Extra 300. As many of you know
the Carden airframes are high quality
competiton kits. I was lucky enough to
get a slot on the last build Dennis ran in
late May and my kit has arrived.

I was even more lucky that I was able to
seure a build slot on Cam McCausey's
schedule and he is well underway as of
middle of June on my build. Cam is a
professional builder who has been building
Carden kits for sometime. He builds for
some top names like Kurt Koelling so I am
very lucky to own and fly a custom Cam
McCausey airframe.

Thank You Cam

I will be receiving the airframe built up and
will have to complete the covering,
painting and hardware here in the Team
Kennedy Shop. I will review the airframe
and cover each step in getting the Extra
ready for maiden flight. My goal is to have
this airframe trimmed and ready for the
2010 IMAC season.

I am powering the Extra with the Desert
Aircraft (DA) 170 running MTW R3 tuned
pipes. I am breaking in the 170 this
summer on the Jtec Extra prior to installing
in the Carden airframe.
