Reno Air Races

The last time I visited Reno was in 1993. I made reservations early this past year to attend the 2012 Reno Championship Air Races. This is the ultimate Motorsports on the planet and I highly recommend attending if you get the chance.

Strega took the Championship this year with Steve Hinton Jr. at the controls. his Father Steve Hinton still flys the pace jet T-33 (See first picture below).

We had a great time. My friend Mike Aken met Cathy and I in Reno this year. Mike had attended with me in 1993 so it was a great opportunity to see him and attend the races again together.

Weather was perfect, racing was Fantastic and the other air show acts in between the races were wonderful.
